SOUTH CAROLINA---Suspended South Carolina treasurer Thomas Ravenel has resigned.
Ravenel was in federal court today after leaving a drug treatment center in Arizona. His attorney had already entered a not guilty plea to a federal cocaine charge.
The judge was expected to put restrictions on Ravenel before his trial date.
