Ravenel's family suspected drug use

SOUTH CAROLINA---The father of suspended South Carolina Treasurer Thomas Ravenel says his son has a drug problem and is in "pretty bad shape".

Arthur Ravenel told the Associated Press in a phone interview, "We suspected it."

Prosecutors say 44-year-old Ravenel bought cocaine to share with other people.

    Now that Ravenel has been "indicted" and his dad says that he is in "pretty bad shape", let's see if he goes to rehab and then gets off free... oops, just a little slap on the hand, perhaps.

    Thomas Ravenel has more than a Drug Problem. T-Rav has a Drug Distribution Problem. His partner (Michael Miller) has a Drug trafficing problem. Heads need to roll. All of the officials that are found connected with these guys need to go. It's time to clean house at the Statehouse.
