Someone posted that this man should be killed. Do you kill someone who has cancer or any other illness? This man is mentally ill. I am so sorry, his wife had to paid because no one realized he was that ill before. My heart goes out to her family but also to Charlie's family, his sons, his brother and his extended family. There has been so much lost in his family too. He lost a sister to mental illness. She took her own life. I will continue to pray for both families.

My family has been on the side of victims of sensless murders. My cousin was murdered and the perps were caught, tried and imprisoned. And my family has had to fight the parol boards year after year to keep them behind bars. But I know that this man has a family, family that doesn't understand what he elegedly did or why. And while I will not attempt to justify the crime I would say that in all the comments sourounding this sensless tragedy two families lives have been destroyed, and irreversable damage has been done to so many people. It's easy to say an eye for an eye, but more important are the lives of the family members on both sides of this tragedy, please pray for them.

So now he will set in jail for a year, be convicted (maybe), hopefully get the death peanilty, use 10 appeals in 10 years, be sentenced to death. Then set in prison another 20 years befor it is carried out. All the while we the tax payers get the privilage to pay for this peice of trashes well being. JOY! I truly belive that this country needs to go back to public execution, as crude as it sounds, it seemed to have work years ago. Make the punishment fit the crime. This country is so worried about stepping on the toes of the sypathetic that the criminal has more rights than the victims! To say that the death penality in to inhumane of a punishment for someone that commits murder is just plain ignorant. This comming from a victim, not from someone with a meaningless gripe!
