BURKE COUNTY, GA (WRDW) -- Georgia State Patrol Troopers say seven suspects were arrested after a high speed chase in a stolen vehicle on Hwy. 23.
Troopers were trying to stop a vehicle that reached speeds of 100 miles per hour around 7 p.m.
They say the car was stolen out of Roswell, Ga.
Troopers say the vehicle crashed into a yard near a convenience store on Hwy. 23 and 2 adult males, 2 female juveniles, and 3 male juveniles jumped out.
They arrested one of the women at the scene and called in the K-9 unit and choppers to help find the others after they ran.
Troopers tell 12 Burke County EMA picked up 6 others and took them to the station for injuries around 4 miles down the road. They say the EMA was unaware they were being searched for by police, but identified the juvenile driver at the station and arrested all 6 suspects.
Troopers say the driver is being charged with speeding and traffic offences, and the 6 others are facing theft by receiving charges.
