School bus death goes to district attorney

April 9, 2007

The district attorney is now reviewing the case of a toddler hit and killed by a school bus.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says Danny Craig now has the case of two-year-old Kole Ford.

The little boy was hit and killed on Wilkins Road in Grovetown on March 20.

The DA will decide whether there should be any charges in the case.

The sheriff's department says it's not unusual for cases involving children to be turned over to prosecutors.

As a parent it is my job to protect my children. A 2 yr old should not leave your side when you are around any vehicles. You must control your children or things like this happen. In this case I feel parent is at fault.
