NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -- The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting at the Greg's Gas Plus just off of U.S. Highway 1 in North Augusta.

The victim who was shot was taken to the University Hospital after the shooting, authorities said.

It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday morning when the bullet hit the victim while they were pumping their gas, one of the clerks who worked at the gas station said.

The clerk also said the clerk who was working was threatened by the gun-person while they were working during the night.

One of the clerks said it has been very scary to work the night shift ever since the teen nightclub opened up nearby the gas station.

If you have any information please call the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
