sure wish they choose case #6191 in aiken county child support division. Carlos Winfield Blocker III owes over $60,000 to his children. he has avoided his obligation not only to his 3 children but to the state of south carolina. It is a shame that this man has been on the run for over 15 yrs from being served for family court concering this obligation. Why is it when he cant be found to be served that the case does not go before the judge on the designated date of court. this should be a court date for my children regardless if he is served for court or not. all the red tape that folks have to go thru just to get before the judge in a situation like this is rediculous. At one point many years ago i contacted my local state officials as well as the attorny general for the state of south carolina and that is the only time any progress was made. his drivers liscence have been revoked until he meets his obligation but whoopi that never helped me put food on the table, buy school clothes or helped santa at christmas. shame on u carlos blocker III and shame on u family court of aiken county for all tha red tape u put the custodial parent thru. i certainly hope in the future ur department will figure out a better plan of working with other states. like for instance why cant u take his federal taxes if he files, why is it that u only can take away his state taxes if he works in south carolina? duuhh do u really think he is ever going to work in this state? he is probably working down at plant vogel right now....he is a journeyman pipefitter,welder,draftsman...but that tha last time i received child support it was a check for $10 from a temp service that already had his garnishment information. please help, teresa reese case 6191. and oh yea what do i have to do to get him on any of the most wanted list? he has several mug shots in aiken country for failure to appear... that might help

When will the states of GA and SC be compelled to put "the dead" back into "dead-beat 'dads' and 'moms'?"

I agree, everyone wants to get the deadbeat dads, but what about the deadbeat mom's? What do you have to say about a deadbeat mom who refuses to pay child support but does not stop buying lottery tickets and cigarettes?

I'm willing to bet my good lung that none of these "deadbeat" parents were doctors, lawyers or any other high paid professionals. They are treated quite differently by the law when it comes to child support payments. My ex, a high paid physician, dodged court appearances, and with absolute malice of forethought REFUSED to pay child support but was NEVER penalized. I, on the other hand was admonished by the court that I needed to "just get over it" and "get on with my life" because they "could not MAKE him pay if he did not want to pay child support." One judge from Savannah signed a 3 page lie granting him almost $30,000.00 in child support credit for a car I had been awarded in our divorce and on which only $3,000 was owed when the final agreement was written. Yes, I have that one in writing. So please stop bragging about putting these regular joes and joannas in jail and call me when you do something worthwhile like making these professionals pay for more than their pleasure.

karen i know how u feel honey.. there is so much red tape...i could think of a better word but then they wouldnt print this. over here in aiken county the judge wont even hear the case if my ex hasnt been served...duh he is avoiding being served. why cant the judge hold the hearing for my children regardless if their deadbeat dad doesnt know about court? thats tha kinda red tape im talking about...

Putting so called, dead beat dads, in jail seldom helps and assures they can't earn the funds to make any payments and causes them to only fall further behind. With the economic system crashing and joblessness reaching near 20%, appears even more will fall behind. Perhaps some work programs would help.
