Over 450 grams of cocaine seized during I-20 traffic stop

MARTINEZ, Ga. (WRDW) -- A traffic stop near mile marker 194 on I-20 ended in arrests on Wednesday.

After all three people had gotten out of the car, 23-year-old Deynae Monique Herring allegedly jumped back in and drove away.

Once a deputy chased and tracked Herring down, the deputy confiscated approximately 499 grams of cocaine and 15.5 ounces of marijuana. The drugs and over $5,000 were seized from the car.

Herring is charged with felony fleeing and attempting to elude an officer, trafficking in cocaine and felony possession of marijuana.

The other two people in the car, 34-year-old Tony Chevallier and 19-year-old Malcolm Lee Henry Jr., were charged with trafficking in cocaine and felony possession of marijuana.

All three suspects are from Clinton, N.C.
