12th suspect arrested in connection to Louisville murder

LOUISVILLE, Ga. (WRDW) -- The 12th suspect has been arrested in connection to a murder that happened in Louisville on June 16.

Darryus Sergio Jackson, 22, turned himself in Tuesday night around 8:30 p.m. Jackson is charged in the murder of 23-year-old Ken Quarterman Jr.

BJ Allen Barrington, Ivey Elam, Rajonte McGruder, Dontavius Meadows, Jason Williams, Jayrin Williams, Lafayell Williams, Damien Simpkins, Shinique Flournoy, Octavius Hickson and Dalonte Tarver were previously arrested in connection to the murder.

The shooting happened just down the street from the Apollo Club on E 5th Street in Louisville, but officials say the club had nothing to do with the incident. A second victim, Charles Lewis Brown III, was wounded when bullets grazed his head. Brown was treated and released from the hospital.
