AUGUSTA, Ga. --- Another commercial armed robbery. It happened around 11 o'clock Saturday night. Richmond County investigators said two individuals went through the back door of Zaxby's restaurant on the 2600 block of Peach Orchard Road. Both individuals were armed with handguns.

"We don't have any reason to believe at this point that the incident is gang-related," Lt. Scott Peebles said.

Investigators said the suspects made some of the employees lie on the ground, while they went to the manager and demanded money. After the men got the money from the register, they fled the restaurant. Investigators said this isn't the first time Zaxby's has been robbed.

"It was actually robbed two weeks ago to the day. And the suspect description and method of operation was similar. But at this time we can't say with certainty that the two cases are connected," Lt. Peebles said.

So far this year, Richmond County has had 84 commercial armed robberies, and they have solved 33 of them. That's 39%. Last year at this time, Richmond County had 107 commercial armed robberies. So in the county, robberies are down 21%.

"This year, we have solved roughly 40% of the commercial armed robberies that have occurred in Richmond County, so thats an extremely high solvent rate compared to national averages," Lt. Peebles said.

That's because the national average is much lower. According to the Uniform Crime Report, the national clearance rate for robberies is 20.4%.

"Your chances of going out and robbing a place successfully and getting away with it are just a little bit better than flipping a coin," Lt. Peebles said.

Investigators said the suspects in this case are described as two black males in their lower to mid 20's, both men had their faces concealed and were armed with hand guns. One man was wearing a black bandanna over his face and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The other was wearing a camouflage jacket. If you have any information on this case, call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
