Warrenville convenience store robbed

October 8, 2007

WARRENVILLE, S.C.---A clerk says he's lucky to be alive after being robbed at gunpoint. It happened at Robby's Convenience Store on Pine Log Road yesterday morning.

The clerk says the robber walked in with his face covered, pointed a gun, and demanded money. He took all the cash from the register and ran to the back of the store, where a getaway driver was waiting.

The clerk says that's the second time he's been robbed at that store.

The robber was last seen in a green GMC Yukon, driving on Key Plantation Road. If you know anything, call the sheriff's office at 800-922-9709.
