AUGUSTA, Ga.---An elderly Augusta woman appeared in a North Carolina courtroom today.
Betty Neumar arrived for a hearing in Stanly County to appoint council for two additional charges. Neumar is currently out on bond in Stanly County.
She was arrested in Augusta over two years ago for allegedly trying to hire someone to kill her fourth husband, Harold Gentry, when they lived in North Carolina.
Neumar has been married five times in five different states. All five husbands are dead.
Neumar is scheduled to be back in court on October 11 for arraignment.
