UPDATE: 1 person possibly hit by car in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Despite initial reports of a shooting at the intersection of Bleakley and Poplar streets, deputies are now saying one person may have been hit by a car instead.
There is no word on how serious the injuries are at this time. The victim was taken to the hospital.
No suspects are in custody at this time.
