Deputies: Trenton man arrested for ill-treatment of 77 horses

Updated: 03/26/2014 - An Edgefield County man is facing an animal cruelty charge for allegedly mistreating 77 horses. On Saturday morning, deputies raided a horse farm near the corner of Vann Road and New Market Road in Trenton. But as News 12's Chad Mills found out, they didn't seize all 77 horses.

Murder suspect also "person of interest" in woman's disappearance

Updated: 03/21/2014 - 46-year-old Todd Brown is behind bars and charged with murder. Wednesday, Aiken County deputies say he kicked in a door before shooting and killing 32-year-old Lacey Parker of Warrenville. Now, the Sheriff's Office says Brown is a "person of interest" in another big case.

Martinez man sentenced for attempted online enticement of a minor

Posted: 01/22/2014 - Fawad Shah Syed, 47, of Martinez, was sentenced Tuesday to over 24 years in prison, followed by ten years of supervised release, for the attempted online enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity, destruction of records in a federal investigation, and attempted destruction of records in a federal investigation.
