JEFFERSON, Ga. (AP) -- Systemax Inc. has opened a distribution center in Jackson County that will create about 400 jobs.
Gov. Sonny Perdue joined county officials Monday to celebrate the grand opening of the facility.
Systemax, an electronics retailer, is opening a distribution center, a TigerDirect retail store and a business sales office in Jefferson.
The company has already started recruiting employees through the Georgia Department of Labor and has begun operations.
