MACON, Ga. (AP) -- Sears Holdings Corp. says it will close its store at the Macon mall, one of dozens of stores the company says it will close as a result of poor holiday sales.
Sears says it's also closing several Kmarts around the state.
The Kmarts are in Buford, Columbus, Douglasville, Jonesboro and southwest Atlanta.
The company has announced 79 closings. It said earlier this week that it would close up to 120 stores around the country.
