Restructuring may mean no more layoffs at SRS

AIKEN CTY, S.C.---It appears the layoffs at Savannah River Site are over for now.
The original plan called for 1100 workers to lose their jobs in two phases this year. About 670 left earlier this year, some of them voluntarily.
Restructuring has eliminated the need for a second round of layoffs.
