AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Georgia Department of Corrections is hosting a military job fair at Fort Gordon on Tuesday, July 30.
The fair will be held at the U.S. Army Reserve Center at 15th Street and Lane Avenue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Over 1,100 jobs are available, according to a news release.
The Georgia Department of Defense and the Georgia National Guard are co-hosting the fair.
Agencies that will be in attendance include the Department of Juvenile Justice, the Department of Agriculture, the Georgia Bureau of Investigations, Pardons and Paroles and companies MHM Services, Georgia Correctional Healthcare, CCA and The Geo Group.
The Georgia Department of Labor will be at the fair to help attendees with applications, job searching on PC kiosks and interviewing skills.
