MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- An aircraft maintenance company is creating 150 jobs in Horry County.

AvCraft Technical Services announced Thursday that it plans to expand its current operations in Myrtle Beach with a $1 million investment.

AvCraft president Mike Hill says the expansion will help the company increase its maintenance, repair and overhaul services.

Earlier this month, Horry County Council approved $100,000 in incentives for an existing business adding 150 employees.

Officials say most of the 150 new employees will be in technically skilled jobs, and the remaining new hires will be in administrative and support functions. Anyone interested in a job with AvCraft can get more information at www.avcraft.com.
