AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A job fair is being held on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 4081 Jimmie Dyess Parkway in Augusta. The job fair is being held by MAU who is recruiting over 70 industrial positions at local industrial sites.
In order to apply, you must have a minimum of six months of related work experience, a clean background and you must submit to a drug screening. Interviews will be held at the site for consideration.
Positions to be filled include welders, fabricators, industrial spray painters, packers, experienced forklift drivers, mechanical assemblers, team leaders, quality inspectors, human resources assistants, and shift supervisors. Some of the companies hiring are TTX, Kimberly-Clark, E-Z-GO Textron and Newman Technology.
