ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) -- With Veterans Day approaching, some agencies in South Carolina are teaming up to make sure the state's veterans know what benefits are available to them.

The William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center and the Employment Security Commission are holding a Veterans Benefits Fair in Sumter on Tuesday morning.

Veterans Administration and Employment Security Commission personnel are on hand to answer questions and accept applications for a variety of jobs.

Another fair is planned for later in the day in Sumter. And at a third fair in Lexington, a retired U.S. Army master sergeant is expected to speak.

A fourth event is planned for Thursday in Hartsville.
