ATLANTA, Ga.---Georgia's jobless rate is now in the double digits. It reached 10.1% in June. That's a record for the state.
Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond says the state is in the midst of a deepening economic crisis.
The numbers mean over 480,000 Georgians are out of work and seeking unemployment benefits.
