AUGUSTA, Ga. -- There's been major progress on the new T-mobile calling center on Augusta's west side. The company had a little preview for the media this morning. The center is on wheeler road, near i-20. It should be running at full speed soon, with the grand opening set for after the first of the year.
Kathy Woods, the Vice President for Customer Service Care says,
"We have trainers they have transfered from other call centers. they are telling is they have a fantastic caliber of students who can become service reps and that's just wonderful."
The call center is said to be employing 750 people.
