(AUGUSTA,GA) - The Charlie Norwood VA is reaching out to local veterans with a job fair Thursday, June 9, 2011. They're wanting those who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation New Dawn to drop by from 10 am to 2 pm to see what's available to them. Vets families are welcome to come too. It's hosted by the Medical Center's Seamless Transition Center at 1237 Augusta West Parkway in Augusta.

Representatives from the medical center's human resources office, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Columbia County Sheriff's Office, and Northrop Grumman will be available to discuss positions that are currently open.

The center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
