(AUGUSTA, GA) I'm noticing a lot more job fairs lately, and that is great news because chances are if you aren't looking for a job, you know someone who is.
MAU Workforce Solutions is hosting another job fair Wednesday May 4th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Hampton Inn on Jimmie Dyess Parkway. I'm told they need to fill more than 30 openings at industrial sites all over the area. Some of those positions include burners, welders, packers, forklift drivers, and mechanical assemblers. Some of the employers are looking to interview and maybe even hire on the spot. That means you could walk away with a job, but you could also walk away with something else. Everyone who attends the job fair is entered into a drawing for Wal-Mart gift cards. Also, don;t forget to ask about the MAU Associate Referral Program which includes a potential $50 bonus.
