Thursday, May 26, 2011

(HEPHZIBAH, GA) Now that school's out, you're probably looking for some fun things for the kiddos to do that are both family-friendly and wallet-friendly. Volunteers at a local church say they have something that is both.

The Outreach Ministry of the Historic First Ebenezer Baptist Church is sponsoring what a "Summer Spectacular," and your kids are invited. It's a day camp that includes things like field trips, arts, and crafts, and Bible study. It's happening Monday, June 13, 2011 to Saturday, July 2, 2011. It's from 7:30 am to 2:30 in the afternoon each day. Kids ages 4 to 18 are welcome.

Historic First Ebenezer Baptist Church is located at 2040 Ebenezer Drive in Hephzibah. You must register your child if you want them to go, and you can do that at the church starting Tuesday May 31, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:00 in the evening. Registration runs until June 14th. You might want to hurry in case spaces fill up. They are offering spots for 250 kids.
