In the last couple months, we've heard a lot about lay-offs and people losing their jobs, but a private research group has been looking into who's hiring. That news is also getting more and more grim.
The Conference Group looked at on-line job ads, and found they fell by more than 500,000 in December and and additional 500,000 in January. When it was all said and done, it meant one million less job postings showed up online in the past two months.
The group got this information by tracking the number of jobs posted on more than 1200 major internet job boards and smaller web sites.
So not only is it getting harder to keep jobs, it's also hard to find them. That's why I want to draw your attention to a job site you might not have thought about yet. There's a section right here on wrdw.com. Click here, and this link will take you there.
