ATLANTA, Ga.---Foreclosures, as predicted, are on the rise, but Atlanta officials are working to keep people off the streets with some federal help.

More than $150 million will go to Georgia to deal with the high foreclosure rate.

$77 million of that will go to the state and the rest will be distributed in nine other cities and counties, including Atlanta.
