AUGUSTA -- The City of Augusta is looking to get more than $800,000 from visitors next month.
Today the Convention and Visitors Bureau said people in town for meetings, reunions, sports and other events will spend at least $821,275 during October.
Some of the planned events include:
- 2010 Boshears Memorial Fly-in on October 16th and 17th
- 2010 Augusta Half Marathon on October 23rd and 24th
- 2010 Sisters of Unity Retreat on October 29th and 30th.
