AUGUSTA, Ga --- If your kids have their eyes on some back to school fashions, a little searching within your favorite store could uncover some big savings.
Liz Sass of Augusta's Dillard's store says discounted items are often found in the back of your favorite department. Most of the newest items are placed up front, but as the seasons change, the discounts get larger the more you move towards the back of the racks.
Sass says many of the summer items that are popular on full price now could be marked down significantly in just weeks. The pieces are moved several rows back, and sometimes require a little 'extra digging'.
The school year is starting off during a very warm season, so fall clothing will not even appear in most stores for several more weeks.
Dillard's style experts tell News 12 that the popular colors this year are purple, dark greens, and military print clothing.
