Paine College splits at Fort Valley State, men win, women lose

Fort Valley, Ga--The Paine College men beat Fort Valley State 72-70 while the women fall 79-68.
In the men's game, Mario Jordan led the way with 23 points while Kedric Taylor added 16 in the winning effort. The Lions improve to 7-5 in the SIAC and 9 and 13 overall.
In the ladies game, the Lady Lions led by two at the break, but fall 79-68 to Fort Valley State. Ashley Watts with 30 points in the losing effort. The Paine women are now 7 and 5 in the SIAC and 9 and 13 overall
