Grovetown, GA--Sometimes deciding on a Player of the Week is easy...one guy who just jumps off the page...other times, like this week, not so easy. A lot of big performances this past Friday. For all around performances, Grovetown's Juwan Biggers was our go-to-guy.

From offense to defense to special teams Biggers did it all in earning our Academy Sports and Outdoors Player of the Week honors. Against Houston County, three touchdowns on the ground, a kick return for a score and some huge plays on "D" to seal a win. Yeah, he did it all.

"It's the will to win really," said Biggers. "Whatever you want to do to win, that's what you're going to do. I guess I can just say that if you want to win, you do whatever you have to do."

"94-yard kick off return, offense, nearly 260 yards, defensively, you know, I couldn't tell you how many tackles off the top of my head but a big interception there to seal the win at the end of the game. Just stuff he's done all year really," said Coach Rodney Holder.

Biggers didn't start the year at quarterback but now has settled into the role and as Coach Holder says, he's putting his best guys out there in an effort to win and Biggers is one of the best.
