Augusta, Ga--It's been a good year for the ladies of Augusta State on the golf links. With just a couple of tournaments left, the lady Jags have put together a solid spring campaign with a bunch of top five finishes.

They also have a win, coming last time out at Kiawah Island. That brings us to this weekend when the Jags host the Insperitiy Lady Jags Intercollegiate. No question momentum is on the side of ASU but so too is a little pressure seeing you're suppose to win on your home course. With the NCAA's not far down the road, a little pressure can be a good thing.

"Of course there's pressure, everyone there is expecting you to win, but then again that kind of lights some fire and it gives you more confidence making you want to win" said Casey Kennedy "With regioanals there's a lot of pressure. Only the top eight make it and there's a lot of good teams there so it's good to get in the pressure situation."

"I mean you have people expecting you are going to at least be top two." said Marit Bjerke "We have Purdue this year that are coming to it's going to be hard but we'll win. If we keep on playing the way we've been doing this semeseter, we're going to win."

This team has really come together and are getting hot at the right time. With powerhouse Purdue in the field this week, it'll be a strong test for asu. That tournament is friday through sunday at Forest Hills Golf Course.
