Augusta, Ga--During the course of the season, if you missed Frank Booker played basketball, you missed a lot. The westside senior could fill it up with the best of them. Thursday, Booker took the next step in saying he'll play college ball at Oklahoma.

With family, friends, and a good portion of the student body on hand, the Patriot senior let everyone in on his intentions. Certainly wasn't easy seeing programs like Georgia and Tennessee among the others. But when he took a trip to Oklahoma, everything seemed to fit.

"It was a real family oriented group" said Frank Booker "When I got down there, it felt like I was down there for a year, but it was only like two days. The coach, coach (Lon) Kruguer, is a very succesfull coach so he's going to give me a great future if I do go to the NBA or go overseas or anything like that"

The sooners will be getting a big time scorer who's range is out of this world. Literally, when he steps over mid court, he's not afraid to put up a shot and makes more then his fare share of them.
