Pacers Brown, Miller named PBC All-Tournament team

COLUMBUS, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken baseball players Wyatt Brown and Josh Miller were tabbed to the 2012 Peach Belt Conference Baseball Tournament All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the tournament on Sunday.
A junior right-handed pitcher, Brown (Suwanee, Ga./Middle Georgia) pitched masterfully in his lone appearance in the league championship.
Brown dealt the first eight innings of USC Aiken’s dominating 9-3 victory over No. 30 Lander on Friday, May 11. Brown struck out five in his eight innings on the hill. He allowed just seven hits.
Miller (Chapin, S.C./Chapin) started all five games of the PBC Tournament for the Pacers at catcher.
The First-Team All-Peach Belt Conference catcher hit .400 (10-for-25) with eight RBIs and four runs scored in the five games. He collected a total of 17 bases.
Miller owned a slugging percentage of .680 and an on-base percentage of .400 in the PBC Tournament.
The junior acquired three extra-base hits on two home runs and one double.
