AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- Four dogs have gone missing in two weeks, and neighbors don't know why.

Like they've done many times before, brothers Joshua and Helton Jasmin are playing catch, but there's something missing this time ... their Siberian Husky, Moon.

"I remember she used to come and sit in my lap," said 6-year-old Joshua.

Moon was taken from her crate outside their back door last Saturday. Now, these brothers only have pictures to remind them of their dog.

The boys aren't the only one missing their pet. Their grandmother, Allison Durrance, also wants Moon back.

"She's super sweet. Very loving," Durrance said.

The weird thing is, Moon isn't the only dog missing in the area.

"There's at least three other dogs that have been taken within the last two weeks," Durrance said.

The brothers still have their cat to play with for now, but they pray every night that they will see Moon again soon.

"I really loved her because she was somebody I used to play with," Joshua said.

And his younger brother agrees.

"I loved her with my whole heart," Helton said.

The crate is empty tonight, but this grandmother hopes that will change soon, at least for her grandchildren's sake

"They adored her and she them. She was like a little kid with them as well," Durrance said.

Helton has a message for whoever took his dog.

"Give me my dog back," the 5-year-old said.
