Teenager accused in Barton Village murder issued bond

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The teenager accused of shooting and killing another teen has been slapped with a hefty bond.
A judge issued a $50,000 bond for the murder charge and another $5,000 for the weapon charge against 16-year-old Verdre Scott.
Scott is accused of killing Martinez Davis last month on Amsterdam Drive in the Barton Chapel neighborhood.
