UPDATE: 3rd suspect in Hephzibah murder makes first court appearance

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- One of the three suspects in the murder of a man on Keron Way made his first appearance in court Monday.
The judge referred the possibility of bond for Larry Lawson Norton Jr. to superior court for a ruling.
Norton will be held in custody.
The other two suspects, Joseph Leon Guerrero Jr. and Leslie Blair, also had their bond hearings referred to a higher court.

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Richmond County investigators have made a third arrest in a Hephzibah murder.
Larry Lawson Norton Jr. was arrested on murder and theft by taking motor vehicle charges. The U.S. Marshal's Service Fugitive Task Force assisted in the arrest.
The other two suspects, Joseph Leon Guerrero Jr. and Leslie Blair, made their first court appearance on Friday morning. Their bond hearing was referred to a higher court.
The trio is connected to to the death of 48-year-old Michael Wickert, who was found dead in a bathtub with head injures at a home on Keron Way Wednesday morning.
Leon Guerrero and Blair were arrested Wednesday night. Leon Guerrero was charged with murder and theft by taking motor vehicle and Blair was charged with murder.
Wickert’s car, a white 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 Iroc Z edition, is still missing. The car has T-tops, low-profile tires and a sticker on the rear glass that says "Bad boys drive bad toys." The Georgia license plate number is BIR3427.
