COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. -- A former Richmond County investigator has been released from the Columbia County Jail on a $25,000 bond.

Davis Dutton is accused of forcing a woman to have non-consensual sex.

The victim told investigators she learned about the incident after finding pictures and videos of it on his cellphone. The woman said she had taken "prescribed medication'' the night of the alleged incident.

Dutton says the encounter was consensual.

He is being charged with rape, aggravated sexual battery, unlawful eavesdropping or surveillance and making false statements.
