Send UPDATE: 4 people involved in afternoon accident

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Crews worked an accident involving four people on Deans Bridge Road Saturday afternoon.

The crash happened around 3:20 p.m.

We are told a medical helicopter took an older woman to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. A young child also went to the hospital in an ambulance. A fourth person was not injured. So far, no names have been released.

Richmond County investigators say a white Chrysler PT Cruiser was trying to turn into a driveway when a Chevy Tahoe SUV slammed into it from behind.
