AUGUSTA, Ga. -- News 12 has the information on cooling centers for Richmond County, Columbia County and Aiken County.
Richmond County:
Note: None of the cooling centers have weekend hours, but we are told county pools will be open this weekend.

Aiken County:
Due to the abnormally high temperatures through Monday, the City of Aiken is offering Smith Hazel Recreation Center (400 Kershaw Street) and the H.O. Weeks Recreation Center (1700 Whiskey Road) as cooling shelters for the public during normal operating hours.
The hours for both facilities are:
- Weekdays from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
