Earlier this week, two federal agencies teamed up and unveiled their Stop Bullying website www.stopbullying.gov.
The site has been revamped by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health and Human Services Department.
Education Secretary Arne Duncan the HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius say the site is to be used to encourage not only children and parents, but also educators and communities to take action to stop and prevent bullying.
The site has information on individual state’s laws and policies; interactive webisodes and videos; strategies for schools and communities; and suggests for parents for dealing with bullying. Visitors to the site can also find out about the dangers of cyberbullying and how to fight it.
