AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A judge deferred an Augusta mother's bond hearing on Friday because she does not have an attorney.
Crystal Lynne Quick, 41, was arrested for child cruelty earlier this week.
A neighbor says Quick's 9-year-old son told him that his mother beat and bit him. The child told the neighbor that he was worried his mother would also hurt his 3-year-old brother because she was drunk.
Investigators say the incident happened at the family's home on Peach Orchard Road in Hephzibah.
