AUGUSTA, Ga. -- An Augusta mother has pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree cruelty to children.

Loreal Goggins was sentenced to three years of probation under the First Offender Act.

Back in August, a neighbor saw one of Goggins' 2-year-old boys hanging from a second story window. The boy's twin brother was trying to follow him out the window. The door to the bedroom was tied shut, but a neighbor was able to climb up the side of the building to rescue the boys.

Investigators say Goggins left her twin sons alone in her apartment while she donated plasma.
