NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -- Two North Augusta burglars have been caught in the act.

Officers have identified the accused burglars as 22-year-old Tyler Moulton and 24-year-old Megan White of North Augusta.
Both are being charged with burglary.

North Augusta Public Safety officials and the SWAT team were called out to 770 West Martintown Road in response to a burglary.

Officers say Moulton and his girlfriend were burglarizing the house. Deputies say when they got on the scene, Moulton got scared and ran back inside the house.

Because they were dealing with a barricaded person, the North Augusta SWAT team was called out.

Deputies say Moulton eventually came out of the house without incident.
