WRDW-TV in Augusta, Georgia, seeks two full-time news producers. We are looking for a creative thinker, strong broadcast-style writer with solid news judgment who can take control of a newsroom. You will be responsible for selecting content, approving scripts, ordering graphics and coming up with story ideas. Our producers must be able to work closely with production crew, assignment desk, managers and field crews to create a vision for a newscast. Person should have degree in journalism, television production or mass communications as well as previous newsroom experience. Must have desire/skills to produce quality work under multiple daily deadlines as well as possess strong oral, written and interpersonal skills. We have a DNG satellite truck, microwave trucks, a new non-linear editing setup, a sharp looking studio and have been consistently honored for our journalism.
