AUGUSTA, GA -- There is some new controversy around James Brown this morning, but it's not about his wives, his trustees, his children, or their children.
It's about his music.
If you think you've heard everything James Brown ever recorded, you'll be interested to know there's an unreleased album out there.
However, the Godfather of Soul's last tracks are under lock and key.
Buddy Dallas, a longtime adviser, says Brown cut an album in Los Angeles the summer before he died, but it won't be released until legal questions over his estate are resolved.
Brown's son, Daryl who is the leader of the Soul Generals, says he's not aware of any recordings.
Meanwhile, attorneys are still fighting over who should benefit from his legacy and music royalties.
