Is Channel 12 going to do a followup story on this case of false arrest in Aiken?

They dropped all the charges!!!! What a surprise.

In Aiken County all it takes is an allegation for them to make an arrest. They love to do this to sell newspapers and make people think they're doing their job. Am sure there is no other direct evidence that supports these unfounded charges.

i know that stephanie did not do this.. for one she has a really good looking boyfriend and they were VERY happy together. she had a wonderful family.. i took my little sister to cheerleading at Aiken Cheer Extreme and she loved her coach stpehanie!! it was the whole group of cheerleaders, so no one was just off by themselves, so nothing like this could have happened! i know she would never do anything like this. the little 13 year old girl that started all of this for attention should be severely punished!! get a life people and quit being soo jealous and leaving such mean comments about stephanie just bc she is what any girl could dream of being!!

If she did it she dont have anything to worry about because she is a young pretty woman. If it had been a man he would have been nailed to the cross.

This is rediculous. To have a young woman accused and mis-led as to the specifics of the case is utterly irresponsible. I will undertake a background investigation and publish the findings of both the detective, investigators, victom and editor/journalist, and see how you feel to be implicated without due process. Simply pissed off -

You people make me sick.. Why report things when you don't have all your facts straight. Stephanie did not turn herself in,why, because she didn't do anything wrong The ACSO came to her work and arrested her. She had NO idea of these charges and for you to report it like you did is WRONG. This shows that your station didn't have any journalistic integrity, only reported what other rags like yourself reported in their publications.
