AIKEN CTY, S.C.---Sex offenders living in Aiken County will all be in one place tonight. News 12 has learned they must attend an event sponsored by the sheriff's department.

Charleston and Chesterfield counties are having similar functions.

Sex offenders living in other parts of South Carolina are under a mandatory stay at home curfew between the hours of 5 and 10:30 tonight. They also are not allowed to have their porch lights on or give out candy.

Last year, officials say nine sex offenders were arrested for violating the curfew.
