MARTINEZ, Ga. -- It's what the holidays are all about: Spending time with family and loved ones.
This was a Christmas Eve that one Martinez family will never forget. Myra Pettis invited friends and family to a Christmas Eve luncheon to celebrate her daughter passing the CPA exam.
What everyone didn't know was that it was a surprise party for her grandmother's 91st birthday.
Just after that surprise came another. Her daughter's boyfriend of six years snuck in a very important question into the prayer before lunch.
News 12's Laura Warren helped with the surprise. She and Myra told the family, we were running a story on family gatherings on Christmas Eve.
